Mylène Farmer is a singer, songwriter and actress. She is considered a pop icon and one of the most successful singers in France. Mylène originally was an actress when she met director Laurent Boutonnat who was to become the creator of her famous short film look alike music videos. Their exceptional theatrical quality, long duration and plot are accompanied with poetic lyrics and music. Her singing debut was in the 80's and some of her most well known songs are: "Désenchantée", "Je t'aime mélancolie", "Sans contrefaçon". Farmer is an eccentric, mysterious and provocative singer who has collaborated with famous artists throughout the years like Luc Besson and Moby.
