Peggy Moffitt, born in California, has been a famous fashion model and icon from the 60’s. Originally known as the muse of designer Rudi Gernreich she became popular for her unique sense of style, make up and “five point” haircut. Besides being a model she pursued a career on the big screen and held parts in films like You're Never Too Young (1955), Senior Prom (1958), Qui êtes-vous, Polly Magoo? (1966) and Blow Up (1966). In 2003 Comme des Garçons founder and designer Rei Kawakubo collaborated with Peggy Moffitt for the Moffitt line, a successful fashion project inspired by Gernreich's most iconic designs.
