Marie Laforêt is a singer and actress from France. She has acted in a lot of french and italian films but she is really popular for her folk, poetic music. She did successful french covers for famous songs like Rolling Stones’ “Paint it Black” and Simon and Garfunkel's “The Sound of Silence”. Some of her most popular songs are “Manchester et Liverpool”, “L'amour en fleurs” and “Mon amour, mon ami” composed by André Popp. She now lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
